Tomorrow night is the first night of Chanukah. I will cook a dinner for my parents and the people at the house where they live. Today I will fry fry fry those latkes. I already feel tired!
I'm also looking for a platform bed with drawers. My mother-in-law sent me some money, and that's what I want. Jeremy wanted one too, but I don't think so right now. Maybe another time.

Happy Holidays Robbi. I love latkes, I am going to ask, Melanie if she is making any.

I can feed you some if you want to. I don't know how many I'll have left over though after the two parties I'm going to Sunday and Monday!
Happy shredding! Do you serve applesauce?
Thanks, I am going to hit up Melanie tomorrow.

I do serve applesauce, but tonight my friends came and brought a home-made cranberry orange sauce that was divine on the latkes.
The coq au vin didn't turn out well, perhaps because I doubled the recipe and because I cooked it in a cast iron enameled pot that isn't really meant for stovetop cooking. I needed to cook it in the oven on a low heat for it to work in that pot.
The latkes were good. So was the salad of frisee and baby greens, heirloom cherry tomatoes, and pomegranite seeds, with a red bell pepper balsamic vinegrette (home made). I also baked challah. But I was so unorganized, it didn't work out well.
I am so tired of latkes, cooking them and eating them too. Unfortunately, I promised to make them again tomorrow. I don't want to, but I gotta for the choir party.
