Movie

We went to see The Secret In Their Eyes, a film from Argentina. I had heard that it was really good, but hadn't gotten around to seeing it. It is a thriller, but more than that, like all good films. I liked the main character, a desk cop, Esposito, who was a very talented detective, but didn't have the status to gain that job officially, I think. All the characters were interesting and quirky, and the story, about a cold case involving a young girl who was brutally raped and murdered by an old beau from her home town, was compelling. I won't tell you more, in case you go and see it, while you still can.

Quilty,
I asked because I wrote my dissertation on Nabokov, so I wondered who could have known that. I figure you are female, and that canceled out most of the people I thought might have written the comment.
What are you doing with Kubrick, if I may ask? And are you also studying Nabokov's novel?

Well, I read Lolita four years ago. And I liked it. And Kubrick is my favorite director since I watched The Shining in 1998. I didnt know about your dissertation. I have this nick since 2000 or 2001-Im not sure- (The nick stands for the Quilty in the movie not in the book). And yes, Im a woman. And this are my two blogs if you like to check them:

I wrote a monography and made a speech about Kubrick´s movies to aprove a subject back in highschool it was entitled "The ´K´s mirror".(I analyzed his movies from a psychological and a social P.O.V.).
